Monthly Bookkeeping Services

Stakeville's monthly bookkeeping service reconciles every bank and credit card account to source statements, categorizes all transactions, and delivers a complete month-end close (profit & loss, balance sheet, and a plain-English summary) on a fixed monthly fee starting at $199.

Monthly bookkeeping is the foundation every other financial decision rests on. When your ledger is current and reconciled, tax season is a formality, lender requests take minutes, and you always know whether the business actually made money last month.

We run a documented month-end close for every client: bank feeds are matched to statements line by line, uncategorized transactions are resolved (not dumped into 'Miscellaneous'), and discrepancies are traced to their source rather than plugged. The result is a ledger your CPA can file from without questions.

Monthly Bookkeeping Services, frequently asked questions

How much does monthly bookkeeping cost?

Four fixed-fee plans, scaling by number of accounts and monthly transaction volume. Essentials is $199/month, Growth is $349/month, Growth plus Payroll & Tax is $549/month, and CFO Suite is quoted from $1,200/month. Every plan includes a dedicated bookkeeper, and there is no hourly billing.

When are my books closed each month?

Most clients receive their completed close within 10 business days of month-end, once all bank statements are available. Rush schedules are available for businesses with lender or investor deadlines.

Do I need to switch accounting software?

No. We work in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Zoho Books. If you're on spreadsheets or a legacy system, we can migrate you as part of setup.

What access do you need to my accounts?

Read-only bank feeds and exported statements only. We never ask for banking passwords, credentials, or tax IDs.
